Happy 17th Birthday, TYLER!

Tyler is 17 today!  SEVENTEEN!  It happened TOO FAST, for me, anyway.

We celebrated with a cake with an original, "Mandy" design.

There were the pictures with the birthday cake,

and pictures with the special request birthday pie!

Of course, we needed a picture with Rickey (last year's birthday gift).

There were plenty of new gifts

including a cat toy for Rickey, made by Alanna.

But I think his favorite part about the whole day was that  he passed his written driving test and now has his driver's permit!  This means that the state of WA is permitting him to be behind the wheel of a real, live, CAR, with the motor running, ON THE ROAD, WITH ALL THE OTHER CARS!

Congratulations Ty!  We know that this is something you have longed to do before you could even pronounce the word, "CAR", and now it's time!
