Frost on the Daffodils?

Isn't the frost supposed to be on the pumpkin?

The daffodils are blooming, the calendar says it's spring...............

But the thermometer says it's 29 degrees!!

I'm blaming it on the Eagles!

  1. Thank you Betsy, for the thoughtful comment on my blog. I appreciate the encouragement. Sometimes, while looking at the nitty gritty we lose sight of the whole picture. I don't want to do that, though I still have to deal with the nitty-gritty and I want to do that well for the children's sake.

The Lord has been Good to us and I know He chose these children for our family so therefore He must have a plan in guiding us through these rough waters.

So much adoption advice out there and much does not come from the Word of God. IT makes for a lot of sorting because our kiddos need serious help, but what is wise help and what is counterfeit help is hard to distinguish sometimes.

    Praying for wisdom.

Jesus, Friend of Sinners by Casting Crowns

Jesus, friend of sinners, we have strayed so far away
We cut down people in your name but the sword was never ours to swing
Jesus, friend of sinners, the truth's become so hard to see
The world is on their way to You but they're tripping over me
Always looking around but never looking up I'm so double minded
A plank eyed saint with dirty hands and a heart divided

Oh Jesus, friend of sinners
Open our eyes to the world at the end of our pointing fingers
Let our hearts be led by mercy
Help us reach with open hearts and open doors
Oh Jesus, friend of sinners, break our hearts for what breaks yours http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9Kcm2OAWNA
