Home(bedroom)Makeover

Our bedroom has always been the least painted, decorated, and cleaned, room in the house. It just seems that it's never at the top of the list when it comes to any of those things.

Well, we waited and waited, but nobody ever came knocking at our door offering to send us on vacation while a Design Team,  swarmed in and did a magnificent bedroom makeover. We would then arrive home to see a large bus parked in front of our bedroom. After we asked them to "move that bus", we would gasp in awe as our beautiful boudoir was revealed! (We can dream can't we?)

We decided we'd better take matters into our own hands and
Do It Ourselves.
So all weekend we hauled stuff, cleaned, washed, painted, etc.

By Sunday night we had this to show for our efforts,

and we think it looks pretty darn good!

Even without the vacation, bus, and design team.

Rickey, the cat, has graciously given his stamp of approval.
(which, of course, is quite important)

I think we make a pretty good Design Team!

Jesus, Friend of Sinners by Casting Crowns

Jesus, friend of sinners, we have strayed so far away
We cut down people in your name but the sword was never ours to swing
Jesus, friend of sinners, the truth's become so hard to see
The world is on their way to You but they're tripping over me
Always looking around but never looking up I'm so double minded
A plank eyed saint with dirty hands and a heart divided

Oh Jesus, friend of sinners
Open our eyes to the world at the end of our pointing fingers
Let our hearts be led by mercy
Help us reach with open hearts and open doors
Oh Jesus, friend of sinners, break our hearts for what breaks yours http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9Kcm2OAWNA
