"MARY" CHRISTMAS............

    My very favorite  Christmas song is, "Mary, Did You Know" (The Lyrics are below).  I have NEVER EVER heard the song or read the lyrics with out getting chills when I hear those lines in red!  I'll wait until you scroll down and read  through the lyrics.................. OK, did you get that?  Mary gave birth to God.  God!

   While every mother thinks they have given birth to, "Heaven's Perfect Lamb", Mary is the only one who really did.  And, yes, she knew.  She may have felt unworthy. She may have relied on faith for many of the details. She was very young so it may have been the faith of a child, the kind we are told to have to enter the Kingdom of  Heaven(Matt. 18:3).   But, she knew that, for whatever reason, she had been chosen by God to deliver His Son who would, in turn, deliver us. 

     Mary said, "Yes", to God, and that was her final answer.  Smart young woman, that Mary.  She knew it would not be easy.  She knew people would be critical.  But she also knew that God knew things she didn't. She knew that He was in control, and that was good enough for her.  It should be good enough for all of us.  God doesn't call the able, He enables the called.

     We would like to wish you all a very, "Mary" Christmas, and that you will also, "Know", the True Gift of the season.
