Emergency room visit

Evonne and I went to visit the nice people in the emergency room last night. We both got some reading done, and she came home breathing a little easier. She's really been having a rough time with her asthma, she is on a lot of drugs and still not doing well.

  1. Just a few thoughts to ponder: Did you know that stress in a child's life can cause asthma? How is she doing with all that you're going through for your youngest one?
Have her doctors run tests to check her for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (copd)? It is sometimes misdiagnosed as chronic asthma and kids are put on steroids that they don't need. Just wondering.

  2. I'm convinced that stress IS the issue. She is greatly affected by what's going on in our lives! She will be starting counseling soon, and I'm hoping that helps. I appreciate your comments!

Jesus, Friend of Sinners by Casting Crowns

Jesus, friend of sinners, we have strayed so far away
We cut down people in your name but the sword was never ours to swing
Jesus, friend of sinners, the truth's become so hard to see
The world is on their way to You but they're tripping over me
Always looking around but never looking up I'm so double minded
A plank eyed saint with dirty hands and a heart divided

Oh Jesus, friend of sinners
Open our eyes to the world at the end of our pointing fingers
Let our hearts be led by mercy
Help us reach with open hearts and open doors
Oh Jesus, friend of sinners, break our hearts for what breaks yours http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9Kcm2OAWNA
