THEY'RE ENGAGED!
FINALLY! They finally realized they were meant to spend the rest of their lives together. I think, at least, our family has known that for some time. Stephanie has always been very strong willed and and a bit high maintenance but it's been almost a year and Michael is still hanging in there. He's definitely a keeper!

Happy Birthday, Stephanie!
I don't really know how this happened, but our Stephanie turned 23 today. 23. Years. Old! Sure, she has thought she was 23 since she was 3, but now she is a real, honest to goodness 23 year old woman! A woman who can change the oil in the car, whip up a new skirt in one evening, lay ceramic tile, make a quilt, and play guitar. A woman who desires to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with her God.
A woman who we are very proud to call daughter. We love you Steffi!

WE HAVE A NEW GRADUATE!
Stephanie graduated this morning, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Worship, with a minor in Children, Youth, and Family Studies, Outdoor Ministries
The choir also performed (she is on the far right by the flag)
Trinity Lutheran College Class of 2011!
Look out world! Now she's armed with a diploma! YOU GO, GIRL! We love ya!

Adoption Month
For Stephanie's senior music project she chose to do a celebration of adoption for National Adoption month.
It was a family affair with Evonne reading a poem she wrote.
The girls put programs together
Mandy did a Power Point and Alex set it up.
I spoke:
The band from Stephanie's school came to help with music.
And Stephanie and five beautiful little girls, who will never again, have to worry about where they belong, sang:
ALL I REALLY WANT FOR CHRISTMAS!

Stephanie is off to camp
Friday, Alex and I made the long trip to take Stephanie to her job as camp counselor for the summer. Her time home was too short, and we'll miss having her here. This is her second summer as counselor at this camp, and she is very attached to it. I wish she was attached to one a little closer, but she's doing what she loves, and we're very proud of her!

Stephanie's spring break
Stephanie came home for spring break last week, and left yesterday to spend the last of her break with her friend, Emily. It's always great and never boring to have Stephanie home, but now we need a spring break! We love ya Steph:)!
