PUZZLES
Puzzles are good for your brain. It's true. It says so here.
We need all the help we can get in the brain department,
so we do puzzles.
An added bonus is that they are FUN
(unless they're over 1000 pieces, and that's just showing off).
We are working on a puzzle for each season and holiday to hang in the stairway. Here is January/February.
Spring is in progress.

HE IS RISEN!
He is Risen! What
does that really mean?
To me, it’s the greatest gift of all the
gifts ever given. A gift
NOBODY can ever earn and NOBODY will ever deserve. It Is the ultimate
gift given freely through pure unconditional LOVE by our
Creator!
It means: Freedom
from the burden of sin
It means: A new
start
It means: Adoption
It means: Death is conquered
It means: HOPE
Not coincidentally, Easter comes at a time when our part of the world is also coming back to life.
Mother Goose on her nest
While Father Goose keeps watch for the enemy.
Even the weeds look good!
The egg machines are back in business.
New life is popping up around every corner.
Of course around every other corner lurks something threatening to the new life.
So we have to take precautions.
No matter how innocent that threat may seem.

planting seeds,
or for a Sunday drive
(after checking for phone messages, of course),

Spring Comes to the PNW
Signs of spring in our yard that distracted me from pulling weeds this morning.
The Mallards
After a bit of preening, Mr. Mallard was quite willing to strut his stuff for the camera
The Mrs............. not so much.
The camera is a Canon Rebel T1i. I used a 75-300mm telephoto for the ducks and all pictures are straight of the camera.
